Sheenagh McNally

Sheenagh has worked in housing and community development for over 25 years after graduating from University of Ulster with a BSc in Social Policy & Housing Studies. She joined Supporting Communities (formerly NI Tenants Action Project) in 1992 having worked for a Local Authority in England as Housing Officer.

Sheenagh has held many positions within Supporting Communities primarily working closely with tenants and tenant/community organisations empowering them to take a more active role to make a real difference. She has extensive experience developing action plans, facilitating interagency meetings, sourcing funding opportunities, ensuring good governance, providing advice, support and guidance, promoting and encouraging tenant participation and community development.

Now, as Head of Corporate Services for Empowering Communities, Sheenagh provides a vital link with social landlords to offer a range of services focussing on tenant involvement and improved service delivery.

Siobhán O'Neill

Siobhán has worked in community development for a number of years. She graduated from the University of Bolton with a BA (Hons) Community Studies and Business Studies in July 2000, and on return home spent some years working with people with mental health problems, the Deaf Community, and post primary institutions.

Siobhán joined Supporting Communities in October 2016 as a Liaison Officer. where she supported approximately 50 groups within the Housing Community Network structure. While supporting groups to make their areas better places to live, she concentrated on community involvement, good governance, sustainability, inter-agency working and clear communication.

Now, as Tenant Participation and Community Engagement Officer for Empowering Communities, Siobhán is excited to transfer her skills to work effectively with social landlords, offering a range of services to benefit both tenants and staff alike.
